Important Changes to Highlight
Device Management.
This is where you now define your APOS connections (whether you are working with one or multiple).
Step 1:
Click on the Plus icon
at the bottom-left corner. From here, you can:
- Select your APOS model
- Enter the device IP
- Assign a name under Device Caption
Step 2:
Click on the Connect button
at the top-right corner to establish the connection.
Once connected, you will see a “APOS device connected successfully” popup. The fields for software version, serial number, and database version will also populate automatically.

When sending or receiving data to/from your APOS:
- Green highlight around the APOS indicates proper communication.
- Red highlight indicates no communication.

Utility Mode
- Disable Auto-Load of Last Project
- By unchecking “Automatically load the last opened project file at startup,” PC-Prog will now start in Utility Mode.
- This means the program will always launch empty.
- New Database / Open Database
- PC-Prog now allows you to select the directory where databases are saved when creating a new database.
- You can also open existing databases. Each customer program should have its own database.
- When working directly with database files (.db), the need to Send to File / Receive from File is eliminated — all changes are saved directly into the database file.
- Switching between databases is instant and smooth.
- Open Project
- This option allows you to open your standard .OSI program files from previous versions of PC-Prog.
- Note: You cannot open an .OSI file directly. You must either:
- Import it into an existing database, OR
- Create a new database and import the .OSI file into it.
- A key advantage of project files is the compressed file size, making them easier to send over email or whatsapp.

Additional notes
- Unique Table IDs
When working with Table Mapping, please ensure there are no duplicate Table IDs. In a future update, we will introduce support for individual areas (e.g., Patio and Indoor Dining). This will allow you to have Table 1 in Patio and Table 1 in Indoor Dining without conflicts, as duplicates will be permitted across different areas.
- Recommended Android Version
For optimal performance, APOS devices running Android 8.1 and above are recommended when using Table Mapping. While the feature is functional on Android 7.1 APOS, you may experience delays when opening the table map and during synchronization.
- Version Information
The Android version will now be included in the GOPOS information window, alongside your current GOPOS version, IP details, and related system information.
The final changelog of features will be released at a later date alongside with the official releases once they are readily available.
For any other additional questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.
Thank you for your patience and support.
